BATEMAN'S PA DAY PROGRAMS

We are thrilled to announce we will be offering a full day of youth mountain bike programming on Friday October 11th. 

Our certified MTB instructors are here to help guide athletes through a well designed program ensuring maximum fun and safety in a controlled environment.

With a focus on individual riding skills and team tactics we will help riders improve at a safe and progressive pace. 

Our program is based on another successful season of training youth and running summer camps. 

WHO IS THIS FOR? 

  • Intermediate to advanced riders
  • Age range between 2012 - 2015 
  • Riders who are motivated to push and progress 
  • Kids who want to  get outside and off the screens! 

BIKE REQUIREMENTS 

  • Brakes that work well. (disc brakes strongly recommended)
  • Gearing for climbing hills, things tend to get steep!
  • Knobby trail tires for cornering and safe traction.
  • Bike must have at least a front suspension fork.
  • A bell that works.
  • Pedals with sufficient grip.

REQUIRED PACKING LIST:

  • A bike and helmet!
  • Cycling Gloves, preferably full finger.
  • Knee pads, elbows recommended.
  • NUT FREE lunch and 2+ healthy snacks
  • Hydration pack, for water and snacks along with other personal requirements.
  • Closed toed running shoes
  • Comfortable light weight clothes you can move around in and get dirty
  • Rain Jacket (riding pants recommended if it’s cold) 
  • Knapsack to contain lunch and personal belongings
  • No technology please 🙂 let’s disconnect from devices and reconnect with nature.
  • DON’T FORGET TO BRING THE STOKE! (excitement, energy, smiles & fist pumps)

WEATHER POLICY 

  • Sadly we can’t control the weather 
  • If it looks like heavy rain the forecast we will try and cancel the program 48 hours in advance
  • Full refunds will be provided

Cost - $150 per rider

Time - 9AM - 4PM 

Location - Bateman’s Trail Shop 49 Laird Drive, Parking and entrance in rear.

  • Body position, trail scanning, line selection and cornering

Lunch 12PM - 1PM

  • Skill development 
  • Balance and control, Skinny work, wheel lifts 
  • Trail Ride 
  • Basic bike maintenance session
