Sunday, September 20: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
We recommend parking at the surrounding plazas along Laird Drive or across the street at Leaside Memorial Aren a.
CAN I SHOP THE BIKE SWAP ONLINE?
Yes. The best selection will be available in-store, but a select number of pre-owned bikes will also be available to purchase online.
SELLING YOUR BIKE & GEAR
WHAT BIKES DO YOU ACCEPT?
Not all bikes are accepted. We prioritize good-condition, mechanically sound bikes from reputable brands that we believe are a good fit for our customers. Fill out an application with some information about your bike, and our team will let you know if we can help.
WHAT TYPES OF GEAR DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept a wide range of lightly used cycling and outdoor gear, apparel, parts and accessories in good condition. For hygiene reasons, used bib shorts, sports bras and socks are not accepted. All items are reviewed by our team before being accepted.
DO I NEED TO REGISTER IN ADVANCE?
Yes. All bikes and gear must be registered and accepted in advance before being dropped off for the sale. We cannot accept unregistered items at drop-off.
WHEN CAN I DROP OFF MY BIKE OR GEAR?
Wednesday, September 16: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Thursday, September 17: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Friday, September 18: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
The final registration and drop-off deadline is Friday at 7:00 PM.
HOW DOES AT-HOME PICKUP WORK?
At-home pickup is available for accepted bikes and gear throughout the Greater Toronto Area, with no upfront pickup cost. Sellers who choose to drop off their items at Bateman's can receive a higher payout percentage.
Before scheduling a pickup, our team will ask you to confirm the condition and provide photos of your item. Items that are significantly different from the information or photos provided may be rejected at the time of pickup.
WHO SETS THE SELLING PRICE?
Sellers set the asking price for their bikes and gear. Our team is happy to provide guidance on fair market pricing to help give your items the best chance of selling.
CAN BUYERS NEGOTIATE MY LISTED PRICE?
No. All listed prices are firm and non-negotiable during the sale.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PAYOUT?
Seller payouts are typically issued within 4–6 weeks of the bike being sold. We do our best to accommodate special circumstances when possible.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BIKE DOESN'T SELL?
Bikes that don't sell during the Bike Swap can be enrolled in Bateman's ongoing consignment program or picked up by their owners.
BUYING A PRE-OWNED BIKE
ARE PRE-OWNED BIKES INSPECTED?
Yes. All Bike Swap bikes undergo a basic safety check before being offered for sale.
In rare cases, a bike may be sold as-is, with the price reflecting any work that may be required. Any known issues or required service will be clearly noted by Bateman's staff.
CAN I TEST RIDE A BIKE?
Yes. Limited parking lot test rides are available for sizing and fit checks before purchasing.
ARE BIKE SWAP BIKES FINAL SALE?
Yes. All pre-owned bikes purchased through the Bike Swap are final sale.

The Bateman’s Bike Swap is a weekend consignment sale where we help you sell your bike, without the hassle of doing it yourself. Register your bike in advance, drop it off before the event, and our team will handle pricing, display, and sales in-store.
Over the course of the weekend, your bike is put in front of a high volume of motivated buyers. If it sells, you can choose between a cash payout or store credit toward your next bike, making it an easy way to clear out unused gear and upgrade at the same time!
